Is he really blaming Muh Racism for this?

Not directly, but this is his statement about going to rehab:

"After conversation with my family and deep reflection, I have made the decision to seek help, guidance and enter a rehabilitation facility at this time. This has been a wake-up call for me. Since my race for governor ended, I fell into a depression that has led to alcohol abuse. I witnessed my father suffer from alcoholism and I know the damaging effects it can have when untreated. I also know that alcoholism is often a symptom of deeper struggles. I am committed to doing the personal work to heal fully and show up in the world as a more complete person. "I now need to firmly focus on myself and my family. I will be stepping down from all public facing roles for the foreseeable future."

And during his campaign, Gillum said this about his Republican opponent Ron DeSantis when he refused to answer a racial 'gotcha' question from the MSM:

“My grandmother used to say a hit dog will holler — and it hollered through this room. … Now I’m not calling Mr. DeSantis a racist. I’m simply saying the racists believe he’s a racist”

That second statement could be interpreted as Gillum believing that the "racist vote" is why he lost. So if you couple that with the drinking/meth excuse, the mythical "racist vote" is why he says that he started drinking.

I'm sure there are better examples for building a case, but I don't want to spend time searching for info about this clown.

I’ve gone on a few benders before, but it never ended in a hotel room with meth and a prostitute. I don’t think “alcoholism” is this guy’s issue.

The whole statement is such bullshit and deflection on multiple levels it boggles the mind. I mean, forget politics for a second, if I was this guys 12 step program buddy I would be the first one to call him out on it.

"Andrew, Andrew, Andrew... alcohol is not your problem when you were caught with meth. Meth is your problem."

"Look buddy, if you're a married guy with 3 kids and you are caught in a hotel with a gay stripper, maybe you have some sexuality issues you need to address."

These glory-day losers that worship that "Once In A Lifetime Moment" of 10-20+ years ago - every day of your life, has new, fresh Once In A Lifetime Moments. But do people train hard to try to sieze those? Nah. Nahhh. Dreaming of that "one time" they "almost" did something. Coulda fuckin' got back on the horse, trained up, and tried again at something new. @#@#*&@ I don't get people.

Who's really to blame here? Andrew? Or SYSTEMIC RACISM?!

Obviously it's always the others to blame. Even if the entire world bends over backwards to kneel before you, the system is still rigged against your race/gender/etc.

You know, I wonder if the left was always so blatantly lying and bullshitting as in the last few years. Just outright telling lies like nobody cares - be it serious or not. Media covers their ass anyway and apparently you get away with almost anything even if it gets exposed.

But brag about something trivial and every leftist in the world will "fact check" you on that. Being truthful only matters if it's not themselves apparently.

I will gladly vote for Ron DeSantis if it means Andrew Gollum falls deeper into a hole. Maybe we can stop hearing from him for good

Some might call it a Democrat "friendraiser" at Ed Buck's place.

I'm sure Andrew knows a thing or two about falling deep into holes.
