Work or engage in schooling from home whenever possible

If you work in a CRITICAL INFRASTRUCTURE INDUSTRY such as healthcare services and pharmaceuticals and food supply, you have a special responsibility to maintain your normal work schedule. You and your employers should follow CDC guidelines to protect your health at work.

AVOID SOCIAL GATHERINGS in groups of more than 10 people.

Avoid eating or drinking at bars, restaurants, and foot courts-- USE DRIVE-THRU, PICKUP, OR DELIVERY OPTIONS.

I'm glad he took this route instead of banning interstate travel and martial law.
He will have to do it if people don't follow the guidelines. Over here (Europe) we have curfew. Nobody is allowed to go out except for work or supermarket. All you see outside most day is police cars
There is a constitutional right to travel in this country, expect 1000 lawsuits if Trump restricts travel.
This, I'm already fairly convinced that most of the state-level response is completely unconstitutional. The first amendment covers the right of assembly; states, counties, and cities can't just forbid people from meeting.
I'm not saying that avoiding large groups is a bad thing at this time, but it's not something the government is supposed to be able to ban.
