Yes, I know there’s going to be some differences. Mainly just looking for the graphic that’s already been posted. It reflected swine flu totals with current stats for corona.
Yeah, I am thinking so. I dont remember changing anything about my life in 2009. I dont remember even thinking about it. It was something I saw casually on the news. If I can see the numbers in the context of Coronavirus, it will serve a great purpose putting this all into perspective. Unfortunately, a lot of charts people post are BS, made to look a certain way to elicit a certain perspective, I will be able to tell immediately.
I've got one dated Jan 30, not recent. The source is not noted. Fairly sure I saved it from here on Jan 30. Have you checked the CDC site for a graph? (I have not).
I have checked CDC- there’s good info there, but not as concise as the graphic I’ve seen floating around here.... (I’m assuming someone simplified the numbers and made an clear message regarding the hype differences in this country). I do want to check the info from it, and know it was only a moment in time, since Wuhan virus is still evolving.

CDC numbers different from John Hopkins.

I second that. Would love to see day by day comparison. Wondering if this is just another H1N1
It’s a graphic that has been posted a few times. It has Corona Virus numbers (thus far) and H1N1 numbers underneath.
It shows very simply the difference in panic levels - none of this happened in the midst of H1N1.
