I am less worried about WuFlu than I am my own government's [over]response to it.
Markets are fucked and the economy is going to suffer for a bit. People need to cool their shit, STFU and sit on their hands instead of panicking.
I would take a hit to the economy if we learned our fucking lesson and brought manufacturing back to the US, if for no other reason than to prevent a communist country from monopolizing the global supply chain and holding the world hostage (the west is fucking stupid for letting this happen).
BUT, I doubt that the west has learned its lesson in all of this.
We'll be back to letting China control the global supply chain because muh cheap big screen TV, and other selfish, materialistic, greedy reasons.
The slave labor over there is what makes it so attractive to the big money.
Until Trump no one from his world (top1%) spoke out about it AND did anything to stop it.
If we want to fix it we have to outlaw any trade with any country that doesn’t value human rights.
