You don't know more than the experts. Look at what has happened in Italy. This is not some mostly harmless flu.

Last time I checked. This isn’t Italy. Our medical care is better, we have far more hospitals and we don’t run around hugging Chinese people. We’ll be fine. And yes, with a survival rate of 98%, it is a mostly harmless flu

It is NOT “flu”.

2% mortality is not “mostly harmless”.

Seasonal influenza mortality rate is about 0.1%.

This season, there are about 36M influenza cases in the US, so far. At a 2% mortality rate, that would be 720,000 dead.
