One hand I think the news is blowing it up and on the other I look at the data and I'm still worried. I'm not sure who to believe anymore.. On one hand my job is letting us off without penalty of getting fired of we're uncomfortable with the coronavirus, on the other hand if the store closes I'm not sure I'll be paid. I'm a college student!

It can be both, news making it worse than it actually is, but also that this thing should be taken seriously. Have some food and supplies stocked up, try not to get into big groups and practice good hand hygiene as trump has said. And follow up with trump press conferences for updates

Just take precautions. No need to live in fear. Do you best to minimize exposure. Do your best to minimize infecting others.

If all these countries are taking so drastic measures it's not for nothing, they would not sacrifice their economy for nothing.
I'm not worried at all. It's the reactions to the flu that bothers me.
I've commented before- we've likely already been exposed but chalked up being "normal" flu.
Too much global air travel time between November until travel bans in February.
Be prepared. It's better to be slightly over-prepared, than getting stuck with less than what you need. It's not too late. But it is time to take extra steps if and when you go out to get necessities. With extra hand washing and avoiding walking super close to random strangers.
