World-wide death statistics show the cornoa-flu is less deadly than the seasonal sniffles.

In a world of fake news and crisis actors, I think I'll trust verifiable data more than baseless shit I read on Twitter.

So what, specifically, is this guy struggling to survive? Does he have pneumonia, TDS or just an attention seeking disorder?

Sorry, but young, healthy Type 1 Diabetics don't die from being sneezed on.

Sorry. No sale.

Sounds like pneumonia caused by the viral inflammation. That's why they put him on steroids. A lot of folks are asymptomatic, but this is what a coronavirus can do (especially if you have underlying immune system conditions, as this guy does). I know the lung pain he's talking about. It's bad, but it's not kidney stones + pancreatitis bad. He'd feel better with oxycodone over ibuprofen, but with so many patients (and given that opiates are a respiratory depressant) that's begging for a bigger national crisis. It doesn't look like he's going to die, it's just a bit of rough road. The ones getting hit hard are gonna have to man up for this ride. Don't worry, the pain won't kill you. The important thing is that you keep breathing.

Sounds like

Sounds like we don't even know if his claims are real, or if he's a Shareblue bot or a crisis actor.

Sounds like we should focus on real data, not baseless Tweets.

The very important thing is you are type 1 diabetic. I wouldn't be surprised if it beats the shit out of you more than a person like me who has no medical history. Of course, take this very seriously guys though.

"Very healthy" and "diabetic" are mutually exclusive.

Dumbass doesn't even know that much.

Yeah, he's in the high risk group along with people over the age of 70. Not saying he isn't otherwise healthy, but it's really important that people in the high risk group do quarantine. My issue is making everyone quarantine.

Agreed! Let's get every man woman and child in the US a supply of chloroquine and get back to work. Stop the panic!

What? He’s a type 1 diabetic. You don’t get that by eating too much sugar like your grandpa or something, you get it because your pancreas decides to stop producing insulin when you are young. I’m type 1 and I would too describe myself as very healthy. I didn’t live a hard fast life and then get diabetes as a result, I got it when I was 10.

You are very healthy...for a type 1 diabetic. You still have an underlying medical condition that could make getting illnesses more complicated and detrimental. Your body might have a harder time fighting because of it.

This doesn't mean you have an unhealthy lifestyle and you don't have to get upset. The reality is living with type 1 diabetes can be a struggle as you undoubtedly know. In fact, living with it might have made you mentally able to overcome many other struggles, which is why you are upset being called unhealthy, but that won't overcome the fact that the disease makes getting sick more complicated. It's precisely why it says that wuhan is more dangerous to the old and those with underlying medical conditions.

On reflection I see where you were getting at. Sorry, didn’t mean to attack you.

Balance that with Idris Elba who also has it, but is asymptomatic.

A very healthy type 1 diabetic is still a type 1 diabetic. A lot of illnesses will hit him harder than a healthy non diabetic his age. People who have weaker immune systems must always be careful when something’s going around.

I would also describe strep throat as an ass kicker, but not a bankrupt society world ending plague. Fuck sake.

diabetics are a high risk group. Not minimizing, just saying. That said hope the guy recovers quickly.
