Hopefully the courts shut this shit down. Here is what Louisiana law says about this

Louisiana Revised Statutes Annotated section 40:1796(A) provides:

No governing authority of a political subdivision shall enact after July 15, 1985, any ordinance or regulation more restrictive than state law concerning in any way the sale, purchase, possession, ownership, transfer, transportation, license, or registration of firearms, ammunition, or components of firearms or ammunition.

Nice find, thanks.

In the aftermath of the confiscations following Katrina, this federal law was enacted:

But, that's for anyone acting from federal authority, or federal funding. And it doesn't addresses sales, just confiscation.

Hopefully, someone will file a challenge quickly. We have a similar law in Texas, and it took a round of high profile slapdowns to get municipalities to start abiding by the law.

FYI, the article says that the Second Amendment Foundation has already warned the mayor they will be suing to stop her.

Lol, laws. We're heading toward third world status. Trump is the last generation of Americans. When the boomers are dead, it's shithole status for this country.

A bunch of millennials and diversity shit is going to make this country great? Yeah, right. The USA is finished. Thank leftists who squandered everything our ancestors fought for.
