My immediate thought when I first heard this was that the virus is actually vampirism.
No, vampirism is an allegory for socio-political elite pedophilia. Think about it. Immortal, immensely powerful, feeds on death, sexually aroused by preying on the innocent, giving in to the demands of one makes you a vampire as well.
Like people rationalizing sleep paralysis as a demon sitting on them, vampirism is a primitive way of rationalizing being treated like livestock for a tiny elite with no regard for their well-being and a seeming need to destroy innocence and virtue.
ok that's neat and all but I was just saying that the curfiew is only effective if the Wuhan virus only comes out at night... like a vampire.
