That's overkill. The cops are just following orders, it's not worth harming them over. Resist peacefully. Vindicate your rights in court, not by violence.

The Nazi's were just following orders as well and was a common attempt for defense at the Nuremberg trials. I love cops and I am great friends with many of them from my work. I am no friend of steppers and gun-grabbers, which I guarantee not a single one of them is.
