Italy’s was/is very high. We have to wait to see what happens here in the US. It’s been dropping all day.

Lol ya I was trying to be nice. But yes. Plus they sort of live on top of each other then have nice rural area separating villages. So it didn’t surprise me at all either when I saw it so high. I was sort caught off guard by how old their population is. I must have been at all the young people spots when I was there.

We have no idea what the mortality rate is and we never will. At best, official mortality statistics are a percentage of people diagnosed with COVID-19. With many people asymptomatic, and many having ambiguous mild symptoms that may or may not be COVID-19, and testing criteria and patterns varying widely from one location to another, the mortality rate is only an educated guesstimate.
