I imagine volatility will continue. Rational people are trying to remain rational, but leftist run cities colluding with the media have been issuing 24 hour lock down curfews, banning gatherings, and forcing businesses to close. There's only so much rational minded people can do to combat this before the economy is seriously affected by these pandemic inducing decisions.

And the cause for panic only compounds. For example the only reason why all the sport leagues closed was because cities were issuing warnings/bans/etc. If the NBA allowed games to continue, they are open to endless lawsuits as soon as one crowd member eventually gets the flu.

Then once you have the NBA cancelling their season, everything with a crowd has to follow suit. Movie theaters, hotels, casinos. They aren't closing due to Corona virus, we know this because they don't close down during the flu. We don't see this level of concern for the elderly or those with poor immune systems then. Everything is closing down because of the perception of a pandemic, which would open them to lawsuits.
