I hadn’t been to Reddit in a bit but headed there for some local Coronavirus content. It seemed like the local subs had a LOT more promoted posts than before.

I think they didn’t realize how many people came to Reddit for r/TD and also participated in other subs. With everyone here now, their overall views are probably way off even what they expected by killing r/TD. Either that or they thought they could get us to stick around.

Regardless, it seems like they’re having to spam out ads to compensate.
