You can’t be serious? Look, we Americans are being brainwashed by our blatantly right-wing dominated media, namely CNN and MSDNC. Ration cards are a good thing! It means those who have it may or may not have access to said rations, which is a very resourceful approach since everyone gets only what they need!
I actually still have my grandparents ration books from WWII. You don't get what you need. You get what you're allowed to have.
