I am here to discuss how goddamn surprised and proud I am of President Trump after watching the press briefing today. Not only did he surprise me with this reaction to this, but his stimulus package was something that I was not expecting at all. I had been brainwashed by the media this whole fucking time and I am not happy about that.

After doing more research, this man was 1000% right about China. If we went to war against China with Trump as commander in chief, I would sign the fuck up to fight this war in a heart beat.

Now that being said ladies and gentlemen. I just read that Sanders proposed a "$2000 relief fund for American 'households' ". Okay, now what the fuck does households mean? I am a hard working American that literally paid his taxes 5 days ago, well before the Commander in Chief said I could have paid it later (happy to know some people will do that, and happy to know that option was made available). Here is the thing. I have had a string of bad luck and have been kicked out of my apartment from my ex. I have no home currently. I am staying in an AirBnb while I figure my life out.

How in the fuck does Sanders' stupid fucking "household" proposal help every American?? That is such an idiotic thing to come forward and say. r/SandersForPresident thinks it's such a great idea. What if I was back in college and still lived with 6 roommates in a 3 bedroom house? Would we split it 6 ways and get $333 dollars? Or would the main person on the lease receive it and we fight for it? Or would the actual homeowner get it?? Can someone explain to me how this idea is gaining traction? When Trump proposed working adults over the age of 18 will get $1k(+), meaning some households might get OVER Sanders' stupid $2k 'household' proposal...

I am so pissed right now at Sanders' stupid proposal that I just re-registered online out of the Democratic Party.

I am so fucking glad I didn't vote in the primary and now I will be voting for Donald Trump for another 4 years.

Edit: You know, I may have been wrong about my understanding about "household" because I are silly :p BUT THE FACT REMAINS, THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY FAILED ME AND I SEE TRUMP FOR WHAT HE IS NOW, A GODDAMN GREAT AMERICAN. Thank you for all your positive comments and welcomes, feels good to be here ladies and gentlemen!

Edit2: Sanders' use of "household" phonetically sounded like how I explained. However, I now realize he just raised the bar by about $1000 dollars in a bid to gain traction to win the vote. GTFO of here with that nonsense.

Welcome. I voted Romney 2012, Bernie 2016 Primary and HRC in the general. I didn't give Trump a chance and thought he would be terrible for race relations in our Country. The final straw for me that got me listening to people on T_D instead of the rest of reddit was in the Summer of 2017. There were 2 immigration bills going through congress, one hard line and one compromise (Daca protected, border wall money, mandatory e-verify, end to visa lottery program, etc). I knew the hardline bill wouldn't get any Democratic support, but the compromise bill did not either. It was at that point that I realized that the Democrats would never take the issue of illegal immigration seriously. My focus now is to make sure that issue is solved because I think of a lot of America's issues will seem trivial once we get a final solution to immigration. We are fighting each other so viciously, but are much closer together than the left would like to realize because they cast an enormous moderate group as siding with White Supremacists. If you work hard and fight for fairness (for everyone, intersectionality is being used to justify discrimination) then you are a compatriot to me.

51
iactuallybelieve [S] 51 points ago +51 / -0

I just want fairness. And I am legitimately afraid Biden wouldn't stand up to China at all but instead line his fucking pockets with their money. I am glad Trump took a stand, I never understood what Make America Great Again meant until I really looked into his policies regarding China. What I hate about the left is their incessant bullshit. They can't accept they lost to a goddamn champion.

The media has been lying to us. Russia is no real threat to us. They play their little games like they have since ww2, but China is the one we really should be worried about. They have been fucking us over for decades, stealing our intellectual property, spying in our universities and companies, paying off politicians, buyIng huge swaths of our agricultural land. China can fuck right off!

14
iactuallybelieve [S] 14 points ago +14 / -0

Yeah dude the whole Russiagate thing really threw me off with how fucking dumb the argument was. I remember reading some company that Facebook looked into spent like less that 40k on this supposed "election meddling".

hilarious.

10
The_kool_mom 10 points ago +10 / -0

Exactly, and Bloomberg spent 500 million and couldn’t meddle at all!😂 Also the DOJ just threw that case against that supposed little Russian troll farm out. Mueller looking like a complete loser now!

6
iactuallybelieve [S] 6 points ago +6 / -0

Mueller leaving the publics eye because he realized there wasn't any damn case.

And poor Bloomberg. Paid 500 million to get shit on. Not going to lie, if he came to debate Trump that would have been HILARIOUS

2
OhLollyLollyPop 2 points ago +2 / -0

I think he would have done better than Biden.

3
SwampSwan 3 points ago +3 / -0

Russia can't be trusted either, but at least they're on the radar & at a minimum they're 'Westerners.' They need to get out of bed with China, then maybe we can talk.

Vlad is KGB. He's capable of who-knows-what. Russia is still a Commie hellhole regardless of the breakup of the USSR in 90 or 91 & we should never lose sight of that.

10
ADAM_SCHITT 10 points ago +10 / -0

Democrats never compromise on anything. If they don't get what they want policy-wise, nothing gets done. The only thing they'll pretend to "compromise" on that Republicans use to act like they actually got something is increased military spending.

6
MerlynTrump 6 points ago +6 / -0

I could be wrong, but it seems to me that Sanders is doing as well in the primaries as he did in 2016. Supposedly about 10% of his primary voters in '16 voted Trump in the general, so maybe (hopefully) many of those "afterberners" stayed on the Trump train and aren't voting in this primary and that's why Bernie's not doing so well. On the negative side, maybe Biden is doing better than Hillary.

2

iactuallybelieve [S] 15 points ago +17 / -2

Hate to do this to you, but I have to...

You're*

-1
Afflictionxx -1 points ago +3 / -4

What exactly do you gain by doing that? The message @Trumper007 was trying to convey was 100% clear and you very obviously understood exactly what they were saying.

Who benefits from you making an additional response comment just to point out the fact that they didn't use "You're"? You certainly don't. No one here on this forum does either. Does @Trumper007? No.

It just makes you look super pretentious and shitty for no good reason.

This isn't some formal professional setting. It's a bunch of random people relaxing in their free time, posting on an internet board. . But boy oh boy, God forbid someone say "your" instead of "you're", you just HAVE to make sure you take an extra minute out of your day to go and let a stranger know that you think they made a mistake.

Who fucking cares? Do you have absolutely nothing better to worry about right now? The message was clearly conveyed and you knew exactly what they meant.

I'm 100% sure they know the different forms of "Your", and I'm willing to bet that you probably knew that too, they more than likely just left it that way on purpose because there's really NO REASON to try and make sure each and every single one of your shit post comments is professionally rendered and grammatically flawless.

So what exactly compels you to act? Is it some sense of Ego? Do you have to constantly try and prop yourself up as being better than others by being able to say "I corrected someone's grammar today!" Or does it stem from some level of inferiority that you feel? Some deep rooted sense of worthlessness that you try to deliberately cloak under needless acts of "ACKTHUALLY"?

I am genuinely curious. You could have read the comment, laughed and said "Lol yeah bud glad to be here" but instead you felt the need to passive aggressively insinuate your superiority to the adult peers engaged in this thread by patting yourself on the back over correcting a grammatical mistake that is inherently inconsequential and the equivalent of putting a mark on a 2nd graders spelling test?

Congratulations, you are successfully able to use and apply elementary school level grammar, here is your medal and monetary prize. A scholastic book fair coupon. Please use it wisely!!

Apparently, the Rs are not going to do that, but they are going to prop up industries in distress, as well as give not-rich people money to get by.

McConnell isn't going to put up with their games and he's made that clear. They send taxpayer money to PP, and PP donates it right back to the DNC.

Remember, we have an oil crisis here, too. Just two weekends ago, Trump was in Florida and BAM! Coronavirus, oil crash, and the stock markets crashed. Drillers can't stay in business at this price. The Saudis and Russians are ruining Trump's great energy success, and he might just tariff their oil imports as soon as he tops off the strategic oil reserve. In the meantime, smaller drillers need protection.

The whole hospitality industry, which is a third of the economy, is almost wasted by shutdowns. Massive unemployment there.

China and India make the bulk of our medicines, and we have to stop that right now. (Write your legislators).

So much to do. So little time.

Seriously, Bernie is all talk. He's never done crap except run for office.

There's no way he can win a national office. For one thing, the Rat establishment won't stuff ballot boxes for him like they did for Hillary and would for Biden.

11
iactuallybelieve [S] 11 points ago +11 / -0

True that. He does seem to be all talk, he couldn't even properly debate Biden in that last one on Sunday...

And the establishment is feeding Biden adrenaline apparently when he really needs it, so he doesn't talk about kids sitting on his lap.

Welcome. The most amazing thing I found about Trump is that he follows through on his promises. Politicians just say what is takes to get elected and then do what they are told by the party or the donors. Trump is not a Politician. He is a human and he cares for the people on this country. He is not perfect but he is man of conviction and I respect that.

My heart is breaking for people with blue collar jobs or food service jobs that are suddenly unemployed and are at risk of losing their homes and can't feed their kids. Unemployment checks need to go out to them immediately. We can't have this quarantine hurting folks that were doing fine a week ago! I am in the elderly risk group, can stay home, and I don't need any money from the government, but if that's what happens to young families, we have to help them asap. If they send me anything, I am going to donate it to someone in need.

Donald, make fools of the smug bastards who are giddy at the prospects of a lying, babbling fool becoming their nominee. Gimme another laugh, like the one I had at Rachel Maddow's "he can't win" broadcast edited with election returns and crying Hillbots.

Female or male, just give me someone who can fucking do the job and do the job well. I don't care about their sex so stop focusing on it.

8
iactuallybelieve [S] 8 points ago +8 / -0

I am appreciative friend, I am going through a very hard time that I would never wish upon ANYONE. So I am appreciative that this President is taking action. Not only that, I am now aware of the imminent threat that is China, and how they are becoming more and more globally dominant, and Trump has been saying this for ages. This happened especially when I found out about the medicine my father needs.

If we went to war with China, which I now think could be entirely possible, then yes, I would go to war for him against China.

2
Razeontherock 2 points ago +3 / -1

You are expressing what it means to be a Patriot. This is touching!

Here's the way to handle China:

  1. Every nation in the world is already owed more than China can ever repay. Default on the debt we owe China.

  2. Nationalize Chinese investment in our Countries. Kick their citizens out after having them sign agreements that they don't return, ever.

  3. Worldwide boycott China. China is asshoe.

  4. Worldwide military alliance to insure the south China sea remains open to free trade for 60 years. Never allow them to bully the area by charging tax or fees. Might have to remove their military outposts on their recently manmade islands.

  5. Disable their level 4 lab. The whole world warned them about this very strictly before letting them have it. They were caught violating terms after 15 years. This is now several years later. Never again. This bioweapon is serious shit! Moreso than nuclear warfare.

This is not "hardline." For that, learn how we must defeat our domestic enemies. (Deep state, not citizens or even elected officials. Think the elites who own the Fed and profit obscenely from that scam, making the rest of us slaves to debt)

Take the red pill :) Prepare to have your mind repeatedly blown by facts. And have fun!

It doesn’t matter what Breadline Bernie says! There’s your first problem! GEOTUS has come through again for all Americans!

NvJohansson 1 point ago +1 / -0

Bernie got fucked by the same establishment that didnt want Trump either, but Trump fought back while Bernie bent over like a cuck. If Bernie really wanted to win, why didn't he fight and bring up Biden's Ukraine problem, the firing of the prosecutor investigating his son and the billions he made from China?

Do you think Trump wil spare Biden on that? Joe Biden got a free pass, was not even battle-tested with all these softball questions. The man can't even talk to his own base without calling them fat or wanting to beat them up, good luck with Trump.

Edit. typos.

Someone probably already told you, but you are your own household. If you have a wife, and kids, they are part of that household.

Bernie is out. We all know it, he is just trying to stir the pot. Apparently his mama never told him if you stir the pot, you get splashed with the shit inside. I think his big plan is to make Americans angry at the President. It won't work, as only children think that money grows on trees.

Welcome Pede.

As for your immediate needs, go find the nearest church or charity and ask for help if you are out of food or money.

Long term, you're going to have to make a lot of changes in your lifestyle, first to become truly independent and then to help others.

I wouldn't live my life expecting a check from the government. I would be taking positive action to secure my future. Besides, a one time payment won't solve your long-term problems.

I thankfully have food stocked and money in the bank. It was just interesting to see this stimulus plan.

You're practically a gun-toting, Bible-thumpin', card-carrying conservative 'Merican already. ;-)

Welcome aboard! Always glad to have someone come from the dark side! What you will find is that you have been lied to for years, from your schools to the MSM to political candidates. All in all, we are a happy bunch that just wants big daddy government to Back the hell out of our lives and do what a government is supposed to do, and that is to do the things for the collective welfare of the American way of life, common defense (the military) critical infrastructure (highway/interstate system etc. ) Protect our rights laid out by the Constitution and then stay the hell out of the way of progress. We are not the bigots and hate fueled racists the left tries to make us out to be. So on behalf of myself, welcome, pull up a chair next to the fire and warm yourself from the cold!

Trump is great because he is creating jobs for Americans by pushing out globalism.
If you want a job, you should take your $1,000 check and contribute it to Trump's re-election campaign.

Just watched the video. I can't fucking believe the establishment and what they are doing to this man. He has been made fun of countless times just so he can propel America to a place where it should be. By Americans, and for Americans.

My mind is fucking blown.

Yup. Just wait for Biden to say $3k! lol

Consider this: $2000 is chump change in an economy stricken with runaway inflation.

How do you get runaway inflation? By increasing demand, taxing supply, and ruining small businesses. The demand gets increased by forcing wage raises ($15/h wage anyone?) leading to people having more money to spend, and the supply gets taxed as "business tax", and business must recoup both costs, so they pass the costs down to the customers. Small businesses can't handle the cost of operation while providing goods and services at competitive prices. They must lay people off. Big businesses end up with no competition and a surplus of available workers (ironically keeping the value of the work hour stagnant: if you want a raise, I'll just fire you and employ someone else, we are not in shortage of wageslaves). Runaway inflation ensues, people get poorer despite earning more currency.

1
iactuallybelieve [S] 1 point ago +1 / -0

What about all of this economic stimulus that is being proposed? Won't that contribute to runaway inflation as well??

1
Awilen 1 point ago +1 / -0

To me this is reminiscent of the plans put forth by various governments to get out of economic depression (like the New Deal): go into debt by way of public investment to support the poorest, dampen the economic dive, and reduce investments regularly to eventually hand the economy back to the free market once it's stabilized and running. The public debt will take a hit. Growth itself will be on the low side for a while, but that's better than outright taking a dive due to small businesses, that employ the greatest part of the population, defaulting from crippling net deficits (i.e. the currently government-enforced lack of activity makes them lose too much money, unemployment rates explode, people aren't confident to buy overall, banks don't feel comfortable handing loans, leading to more financial difficulties...)

The news are going around that the US isn't the only country eyeing or having already applied a stimulus plan. I am not an economist, so I hope they know what they all are doing.

Let's remember that the Great Depression ended with a second World War. Hopefully we aren't in a Great Depression yet.

Edit: and from what I gather, there are meds being tested to combat the virus in clinical trials. Very hopeful! Stay positive!

I'm very angry at Bernie, and very angry with China. No one gives Trump the recognition for what he was trying to do with China. I just understand a lot more now!! Feels good to be here.

I knew that press conference would have a positive impact on Trump haters. Most dems won't listen to President Trump for 20 seconds, or they only see the clips from the Enemedia, but in the case of this press conference, he had a captive audience of all Americans and he certainly shined.
