Bill Weld came close.

I honestly didn't look at the others on that ballot today when I voted.

I knew the masshole Weld was on it, but couldn't name anyone else.

De La Loser was also on it, I think

Unfortunately not, Jeb's handwriting kind of makes his e's looks like o's, so they thought he voted for a "Job" and counted his vote for Trump.

Jeb! won. He always wins.

What's funny is that I looked that guy up. Apparently he runs under almost every party. Some quirk in the law allows people to do that, so he just put his name out there for each party for some reason. Some type of vanity exercise. What a weird person.

I'm glad I early voted, even though Trump was literally the only choice in the entire primary (as in no senate, house, or dog catcher rolls were being contested.) Felt good to add one extra number to the count and more importantly see the changes made to the system. Instead of being a pure voting machine system, the voting machine now prints a paper ballot which is then scanned in the final machine, while still leaving a proper paper ballot as a record. (Georgia.) I think that is a very good balance of fast voting, while leaving making accountability possible in case of fraud.

How funny would it have been if he had actually won due to all the Trump supporters registering democrat to fuck with their primary?

3
Slash78 3 points ago +3 / -0

He sure did.. that 2% of the vote was really a hard fought total.. lmao.

Exactly what I was thinking, who are these idiots?

8
Slash78 8 points ago +8 / -0

No he will be annoying and stay around.. he's that desperate for attention. I'm sure he will step onto a soap box once Charlotte comes around and will try his hardest to get any lick of attention. He will try to rally the RINO's to no effect.

He's an idiot.. he coulda stayed on the Libertarian side and more than likely got their nomination as their field's not good at all. But no he had to try to do a vanity campaign with no hope of succeeding. So dumb.

Greetings, fellow Missourian-!

My husband and I made sure to get out and vote too , pandemic be damned.

All this talk of primaries reminds me of my two favorite memories of the 2016 primary. Over on the now mercifully defunct Gawker site, some commenter said, of the Republican nomination of Trump (from memory):

Ha haha ha ha ha ! Hee hee hee hee! Donald Trump is your candidate ! Ha ha ha ha ha! Hee hee hee hee ! (and so on and on and on , for about 5-6 more lines, seriously).

I wonder if that Gawker commenter thought about this comment early in the morning of November 5th, 2016? 'Cause I sure was thinking about it...

The other memory : April 2016. Trump was somewhere in California , getting ready to give a speech. Some protestors (Antifa-?) blocked his car, trying to prevent him giving his address. And Trump got out of his vehicle and calmly WALKED through the protestors to the place where he was to make his address. Over on T_D, a few posters said, I think he just won the election-and y'know, they might be right. Seeing someone FINALLY stand up so fearlessly to the crybullies and wokescolds was so refreshing.

I did not vote for GEOTUS President Trump in the Primary so that the CHEATING DEMOCRATS don't know that my vote exists for Trump in 2020. I will also not early vote so the CHEATING DEMOCRATS don't know I exists to "BALLOT HARVEST" AGAINS'T................FUCK ALL DEMOCRATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2
TheJMatt 2 points ago +2 / -0

Sorry but this is the dumbest shit I've ever heard. Are you aware of how many democrats are on the Republican ticket running as a Republican? In my county there were 3 and there were several other people that may as well been Democrats based on their beliefs and voting records. My wife and I did everything we could to spread the word on who to vote for. Unfortunately we still have an Ex-Democrat that got into our primaries. The reason Trump has no support in the Republican party is because people like you don't vote in the primary. Then when election time comes around, our options are vote democrat or vote almost democrat because nothing republican made it through the primary. You want to make a difference? Go vote in every single local election you can. That's how you make a difference.

Trump has plenty of support in the party, if you're talking rank and file. Overwhelming support, even.

You guys should really checkout r/chicago and r/SandersForPresident.

both are in complete meltdown. Hopelessness, infighting, some laughing that anyone believed social media, others still screeching "dont give up!"

Lots of redpills being swallowed by people with half a brain.

Most important, total fuckin losers watching their dreams of communism get absolutely curb-stomped. Not by US, but by their beloved "young people" who were too busy taking pictures of their buttholes and photoshopping fat rolls out of their Insta profiles.

What an amazing day to be alive.

Regarding economy...

The economy was booming. This recession is solely due to the virus and the irrational panic created by it.

People have goods and services to sell and have money to buy.

The only issue is that due to corona these two are not interacting with each other.

Either there will be a cure or people will realize they cannot remain locked in their homes due to fear of flu forever.

As soon as that happens, the economy will rebound. The only thing is when.

The worse case scenario is that this extends for a long time. Not the virus, it is a flu, it may come every season, but the irrational response to it. But eventually people will weigh between freedom vs fear.

In that worse case scenario, money will further erode and we will be in serious recession.

Now the media will blame trump for it. But this is an unseen global disaster. Suppose some external object was to strike earth or a major natural disaster. Those cases would also shake the global economy to the core.

There are some factors which are beyond human control. The only thing is how we deal with them.

Even in the worse case scenario in which we are in a recession when voting happens in november, it makes sense for voting for the trump who is most capable of improving the situation.

The leftist and extreme leftist biden and sanders are not the choice because they will make it much more worst

Hey there Vernon, good to see you over on this new site. I fully look forward to your regular election announcement posts. Please keep those up, they are a good reminder for pedes to get out and vote in local elections.

Vernon_Mansae 1 point ago +1 / -0

Thank you! COVID has impacted my family in Oregon since Democrats are nutso, not wanting to let anyone out, but by the Grace of God we are good now and all healthy. I am fully ready to give my all to get President Trump re-elected. I will begin my posts again and make sure President Trump is re-elected.

2
Slash78 2 points ago +2 / -0

It's amazing how inept the "field," was.. from the best I could find and add up Trump's now the all time vote leader for incumbents in primaries. He passed Clinton in 96 and Carter in 80 in terms of total votes tonight and there's still close to half of the country left! Blows my mind but it's amazing.

And to all the fruitcakes who voted for either Weld or Walsh, you are a joke and were wasting your time. Your virtue signaling was pointless and you proved nothing other than your own vanity.

Donald J. Trump will be elected to another four years in November.
