The Chinese tried them at first, but they were destroying people with them, and they were dying of cardiac arrest instead of complications from pneumonia. I’m rooting for chloroquine myself. It’s way milder and has passed clinical trials for widespread preventative use, unlike AIDS drugs which are given to patients that are already terminal.
