Yet your country, just as any other Western country, has been infiltrated a LOT by Marxist and pro-government forces. It is up to us to fight back and reclaim our liberties - hell, our cultures and identities even. Yes, we are individuals, but we are not arbitrary, random. We share values, we share genes, we share behaviors, we share space, we share history, we share resources, we share language. That is a type of bonding, and we call that nationality. On a broader scope, the entire West and Europe shares some values (Western Civilization, Christianity). On a different scope, some people of each country share values (views, ideologies, ethics). Then there are groups with whom we share only a little to nothing.

I think loyalty to one's own groups is important, but that should not manifest itself via government power. If anything, that bond should be valued by not invoking government powers upon each other. In Hungary it's quite common to pay under the table to avoid paying for taxes - even bus drivers do it and boy am I happy if they offer it. We don't rat on each other - I think that is a true sense of national bond. And hell, I would man the borders voluntarily if necessary.

In Germany that would be unthinkable. It just never happens. There is no such bond - if anything, it is weak. And therefore they have no remorse in torturing each other all the time. Marxists have a field day here.

Anyway, the fight is not over for you. Trump is not the solution, he is the beginning. The torch he has lit has to be carried on. There may be no chance to reignite it again - the next time the powers that be along with Big Tech will keep you in the rain forever. And the fight is up to you US Americans - the EU is doomed to fail and drag its member states along with it once it falls apart - which it hopefully does. It will have to get much worse here before it can get better.

All you have is that little torch, and you are wet in the rain. And we don't even have torches.

What is the organized crime situation over there in Hungary? Are they a shadow government like in Romania?

Lots of rich guys over here, doctors and lawyers brag at conventions that they fly to Budapest regularly to frequent prostitutes that look like Victoria's Secret models, but they have to make sure to pay the right mobster pimp or it can get ugly.

Them drunk at the bar after the conference day, when I say no to their advances : "You aren't anything special... over in Hungary you would be working the street and I'd be f*cking your ass... for the cost of these drinks."

Me : "Your wife must be proud."

I don't know. Most of Hungary is quite rural and I personally do not like Budapest (always had to go there for unpleasant reasons). I wouldn't wonder if we had organized crime, but I'd have guessed it's more about gypsies who steal and loot. Almost every Hungarian has negative experience with gypsies, including myself and we heard stories about how they just team up to get into a house and steal.

But we have great looking women and feminism isn't rampant as in the West - meaning women are rather conservative. As of the rich people you talked about, it might be possible that what they said tells more about themselves than about Hungary. If you search long enough for such things, you'll find that anywhere in bigger cities world-wide.

Nice read, great insight.

They say they go to Budapest just for that reason, the women look like the conservative professionals like me, that they lust after here in the United States... that will not give them the time of day, let alone sleep with them, no matter how much money, mini mansions and leased Audis/BMWs/Mercs they flash at us.

As far as gypsies go, I finally watched an old movie that was recommended to me because I mentioned Brad Pitt in the latest Tarantino movie, called Snatch.

I had never seen it because the title was off putting as a women based on what it means here. What a great film! Brad did a great job and reminded me a bit of his role in Fight Club. Him shirtless and young was so hot, he was so pretty, fit, ripped and snarky!
