There have been overweight superheroes for a long time. For that matter I could put together a list of characters from superhero comics who were nonbinary or multigendered probably going back to the 80s at least. This is just another in a long line of shameless "it's the first xxx!" creations.
There was also “Trailblazer”, the fat superhero. Have to make sure ALL the disorders are covered.
