Our state governor has flat out said we are going to overrun our health care system this morning. It's Cuomo of course, and the fact that he and Trump are now friends is indicative of just how things have gotten worse. I know of a local hospital that is being reopened just for coronavirus people.

Honestly I think he should call it Wuhan Virus, not China Virus. It’s more accurate and easier to defend as most modern viruses have been named for their specific outbreak location.
More importantly though it’s more likely to be used by people on both sides of the aisle and gives basically the same effect from more Americans.

I get the political shade throwing. I just feel like Wuhan Virus still makes it pretty clear you’re directly linking it to China, but in a way that centrists cannot be in the least be swayed by the “Is Raycist!” Argument.
Any attempt to make that argument could be met with a battery of numerous recently discovered diseases and immediately shut down while still throwing that shade. To defend China Virus you have to go back to the early 1900s.
To me the collective US/world calling it Wuhan Virus is more detrimental for China than us and the Pres calling it China Virus, no?
