Will we see a rise in Home Schooling? Now that parents know we really don't need the public school system.

Homeschooling is a means to an end.

Parents, not the state are responsible for raising their own children. Even if you're not able to homeschool, or send your kids to private school, they're still your responsibility. In a lot of cases, the best way to be responsible for your children is to homeschool them but everyone needs to remember that the parenting at home makes a bigger difference than the schooling.

Some of the nicest, loving, and most knitted together families I've ever met have come from countries where they couldn't homeschool because it was illegal, they just didn't let that get in the way of being good parents or taking responsibility for their kids.

Don't think that I'm being dismissive of homeschooling, in fact, it can be very effective and rewarding, but it's not a magic bullet and it's not easy.

I understand and agree to a point. I tell the school every year I make the final decision when it come to my children. They don't like it one bit. I have had conversation with the school and pulled my kids out of certain classes. I also had to sue the school. The judge said the parents have sole discretion in making decision for there children.....

Wow, if you send your kids to public school that might be a bit much, but if it's private school, more power to you.

I don't know your exact situation, but homeschooling might be a good option, especially if you have rural connections.

We have a small 50 acre farm. We only have a few pigs, raise a cow every year for beef. Plus chickens. I love my fresh eggs
