Have actual gotten a little back ever since Trump got elected. Had to pay every year bho was in office.

we usually get about $1000 back, but my wife started working after being a stay at home mom for many years. I didn't bother to adjust my allowances of 5, and her employer only took out like 6% of her pay per check all year. We didn't pay more % of taxes necessarily (about the same), we just increased our income by $30k last year.

Same. Wife stayed home for 10 years, and barely went back to work. She did Single-0 on her w4 though, so that helps.

If you don't owe you're doing it wrong.

They've given you an interest free loan. Otherwise you're giving them an interest free loan.
