I went to inner city urban schools, suburban schools, rural ones way out in the country. It was not a thing. Maybe some kids with a few extra pounds on them, but it came off as they grew up. I had one friend who was a diabetic (which also was extremely rare back then and the only one I knew all through school) and she was a little overweight, but not anywhere near obese like kids are now. And our diet was THE WORST. Bologna and velveeta sandwiches on Wonder Bread, Swansons frozen dinners, Kraft mac n cheese in the box, mixing bowl servings of Lucky Charms and Count Chocula in front of the tv on Saturday mornings, Devil Dogs, Good Humor ice cream, Fanta and Frescas. We thought oj meant Tang. We ate ALOT. And we were super active, always outside and barely spent any time at home - our parents made sure of it! TV was for the “adults” and they let us watch it once in awhile until they wanted it back. The activity level has to have been the key to kids being trim and normal weight back then.
Yet the Libtards claim that exercise barely helps. It makes me think either they are fat, lazy and making excuses or really think the bullshit the PC culture is spreading is real.
