Sounds promising, though they say it could be a prophylactic in the end of the article, would that mean that people would need to take in daily?

Right so does everyone just take this everyday like they would if they were in a shithole country in Africa?

Chloroquine is a zinc ionophore (allows/promotes zinc ions across cell membranes to perform zinc's innate antiviral activity). Everyone knows zinc is important for immune strength but I just learned that Quercetin, the common antioxidant supplement, is also a zinc ionophore.

I had my thyroid irradiated so I take quercetin with my daily multivitamin for a couple of weeks every fall to help boost my immunity for flu season (naturopath recommended this 20 yrs ago). I never knew/understood the underlying biochemistry, just did as told. Today, I've seen a number of articles about hydroxychloroquine that ALSO mentioned quercetin.

Posting this here for research inspiration, just in case there is a run on chloroquine or some local health authorities decide not to use it for some reason. Quercetin and zinc is in every vitamin section.
