We were told that NYPD was briefed by Homeland. National guard to be deployed and mandatory one week quarantine for everyone. May be extended. Announcement to go out later this week. Not sure if this is only NYC or nationwide. Perhaps this is nothing, but my wife gave me the green light to buy a handgun, so I'm gonna roll with it...and probably pick up an AR15. Stay safe pedes.

Do you have any skillz with guns? If not, be very damn careful, one doesn't just go pick up a weapon and become competent with it. If you needed permission maybe a handgun and AR isn't the right choice.
All adult Citizens in relatively good standing with Society who wish to bear arms should bear arms, yeah, I'm just saying be careful.
Owning firearms is more mental than physical, tho you do need to practice and train until you don't even have to think about it. But having one doesn't make you safer UNLESS you master the mental aspect first. You are correct in thinking that we will see ever increasing levels of insanity tho, if this continues for weeks Society will be dangerous. Gotta protect your Family, yourself, Community.

I appreciate your concerns. Yes, I hunt, own guns, and have shot a variety of firearms. I don't need permission but as with anything in marriage, we need to agree, especially on large $ purchases.
