I would believe this 100%. Back in in the early days before the primaries, I had my doubts about Trump. I believed some of the BS going around, that he was only doing it for money, that he was a secret Dem and was trying to sabotage the GOP, that he was an arrogant asshole that only cares about himself (this persists).
However 2 things changed my mind. The old Oprah interview from 30 years ago when a young Trump was saying the same exact things he was saying campaigning. The man was consistent and I began to believe he meant what he said.
Second thing was a huge Reddit thread, probably in /r/politics before it became scum, where hundreds of people were telling of their experiences meeting Trump in person.
There was one story I still remember vaguely. The details are hazy, but basically Trump was travelling in his limousine and came across a car on the side of the road. Older couple, he paid to have their car towed and he got them a ride home. He later sent them a check literally paying off their mortgage.
Sounds like one off propaganda, but there were 100s of stories like this, some big some small.
And with as much as the media hated the man, don't you think if he really was an asshole to work around/for, we'd have 100s of people on all the time that used to work for Trump and gossip about him nonstop? You know the media would have had those people as often as they could, if they existed. And a man who owns so many businesses over many years, has met many workers.
Anyway I think Trump truly is a good man, he's raised good kids, none of his ex wives talk shit about him. He comes across as brash, an asshole at times, etc. Of course many of us voted for him because that's what we thought we needed.
Its unfortunate that the softer side of Trump is so rarely told to us by the media, seditious, really.
When he got out of his motorcade that was blocked by leftists idiots and walked to the venue... that’s when I knew we were dealing with a force to be reckoned with.
I loved this reply from a former site that shall not be mentioned:
It was hilarious when he was talking about it in his speech. "I had to crawl through a ravine. Had to go through a cut fence. It almost felt like I was entering into the country illegally."
That thread about meeting Trump seemed so so long ago. I remember reading that along with that other thread about meeting the Clintons. Everybody fawned over Bill while saying Hillary was cold and quiet for the most part.
At one point, Herbert Hoover was the richest man in America. He got that way because of his mining expertise. He took a share of profits instead of a salary. He was the first president not to take a salary. DJT was the second.
He and his wife spoke Mandarin when they didn't want the servants listening. Many of the FDR ideas were his ideas, but Congress wouldn't pass them. He thought handouts and aid should come from the states or charity because otherwise Congress would be tempted to buy votes.
Hoover was a great man. And I bet most of you (like me before visiting the Hoover Library in Iowa) only thought he caused the Great Depression. (He didn't. He warned people, just like Bush and the 2008 meltdown.)
This country would be completely fucked through this if Trump weren’t running the show right now. Thank God for DJT. Great man.
Could you imagine?? Hillary?! Million dead and she would be worried about confiscating guns....
She'd be worried about how many more of our nation's secrets and future hopes she could sell to line her own pockets
While cackling so loudly the British would hear her.
Her friend Laura Silsby would be abducting American kids.
Guns obviously cause clinton virus.
She would use it to declare martial law and seize absolute power.
This was the moment that dictated DJT's legacy as president. In ten years, people will be looking back fondly at how he handled it.
A thousand upvotes for this! 👆

Well, Snopes says its "UNPROVEN", so, yes, it's probably true.
Snopes. Run by a self appointed "expert" and the literal hooker he left his wife for.

Most people that have been charged with business leadership are the same.
Trump, of course, is the most exceptional version of this.
An decently-experienced division manager at a larger company would get more results for the American people than the the snobbish DC elite.
The DC elite are basically parasites on the US Treasury.
I love that entrance. Here it is: https://www.invidio.us/watch?v=I_jHviSHykI&feature=youtu.be&t=48

All the while, the Golden hair flowing...
It's like nothing I have ever seen in my life.
I boarded the train unsure, then I realized there were no brakes and the conduct was a Very Stable Genius Madman!
There are no brakes on this train.
Funniest President ever! (He has a bright future in stand up comedy!)
Yeah...how many men can say that their 2 ex-wives still speak kindly about them? Not many, that's for certain.

DTJ and Eric stopped on the highway and changed a lady's tire for her. Good people. Taught well by their parents.
I remember seeing something on this on here. It wasn’t a yuge story though.

Gold
If it is true, then this only reinforces once again that we are supporting the best president ever!
Decades ago he paid off the mortgage of a mechanic who stopped and fixed his spark plugs for free when his limo broke down, I know a friend of them
I'm from Nashville. He did visit but I cannot confirm how or if he wrote checks but he was in Nashville after the tornados.
If Trump wrote me a personal check, I would probably just frame it.
CAUGHT IN THE ACT!!!! DRUMPF BUYING VOTES FROM HURRICANE VICTIMS!!!
Unconfirmed rumor but I can just imagine the spin!
😢 i love this man.
I believe it!
No other POUTS is a billionaire. God Bless our President
