I put the same thing. I wasn't even trying to be smug I have no idea what they wanted otherwise. The ancestors I know about have been here a really long time and the ones I don't I can't exactly speculate on.

Ya know I filled mine out yesterday and thought about putting American, but didn't know if it would accept it. So I put my standard English/Irish. Wish I had put AMERICAN and proud of it.

I wasn't sure. I wanted to put American because thats what I am. But I guessed they wanted ancestral data so I put European? Fuck I dunno
