Italy's hospitals getting overwhelmed is a fact too. You fundamentally don't understand what makes this virus a threat. So many comments in this thread aren't going to age well when in a few weeks NYC's hospitals can't handle the massive influx of new patients.

So how am I wrong? In NY state, 53,000 beds and 3,000 ICU. If the numbers increase at the projected rate, in <45 days they'll need 110,000 and 37,000, respectively. Hospitals in Italy are admitting patients at a faster rate than they're discharging them. This is well-documented. How about instead of having a stroke at your keyboard you actually explain how I'm a "shithead being brainwashed"?
