Just looked it up. Seems like the drug is still in trials. No proof of efficacy just yet.

ElderPede here: I wonder if Italy is treating their people with quloriquin? Doesn't that drug have weird effects on black people and people from the mid-east? Could that be why there are so many deaths in that country? I'm not an MD but I remember a M.A.S.H. program where they did a whole show about that drug. Any thoughts?

I don't usually put much faith in pharmaceutical companies pushing an off label use for one of their existing drugs.
