I believe he added later that additional checks would be mailed out each month everyone is effected by the corona lockdown?

Well now that people are excited and thinking they will be getting a check, cue McConnell fucking with the deal.

At first he alters to to be anyone that makes between $5000 and $100,000 in taxable income and bases it on your 2018 tax returns. Meaning students at the time get nothing, people in high inflation area's get nothing, people in low income rural area's get nothing. It also effectively screws over people in select situations like unmarried couples where one parent stays at home or people who have nontaxable income such as those that do commission style work.

Well now I am reading reports that he is planning on further altering the terms to basically only apply to individuals that make between $20,000 and $100,000, and the "check" would only be a forward of your 2020 tax return and you would be expected to pay back any amount you end up not qualifying for.

Now keep in mind I live close enough to Mitch's district to get their political ad's, but I don't live IN his district, and something I have noticed is that his opponent has been airing non-stop ad's, but I have yet to see a campaign ad from Mitch himself.

So I cant help but wonder if Mitch either knows his chances of re-election are low, or he plans on purposely loosing, and is purposely blundering this stimulus thing as a way of tanking Trump's re-election campaign on his way out.
