Geez, when sometimes I think twitter is a pro-left dump ground, I look at the replies on this twitter and realize there are patriots on there.

I did and as soon as I followed the president and his kids I got locked out until I add the phone number

I have an ancient twitter account.

I fired it up, began looking around for a bit... And just like you, I followed President Trump and was immediately required to add a phone number. This was a couple years ago.

It did happen in 2009. He ignored it until 1000 Americans were already dead.

Well she is partially right. The press would have just ignored the whole thing like they did during the swine flu pandemic.

Forgive my ignorance. What does getting ratioed mean?

9
sloppyB22 9 points ago +9 / -0

The ratio of comments to likes/retweets. It means it's a dumb tweet that nobody likes.

1
astro_eng 1 point ago +1 / -0

How many likes and how many retweets?

3
sloppyB22 3 points ago +3 / -0

In this case: 2693 comments, 58 retweets, 215 likes

Well she's partially correct. If Obama where President the media, and liberal state and local governments wouldnt be pushing the fear and ratcheting up the panic.

They'd also be "feeling" worse, as in, based on Obama's response to H1N1, he would have waited until over 8 million people were infected before issuing a national emergency.

‘Weird times’ lolololo what a fucktard

Whartooth 3 points ago +3 / -0

So I've seen that phrase a lot on twitter "here for the ratio" what the hell does that even mean? I barely use twitter, deff not enough to know their slang

3
LostViking1985 3 points ago +3 / -0

Twitter doesn't have a "dislike" button, so users look at the ratio of comments to retweets and "hearts". If you have way more comments than retweets/hearts, that's usually interpreted as a general "dislike" reaction by readers.

Makes sense, comment without liking to show interest in a topic w/o supporting it. Thanks
