To be fair, Pence was originally put in charge of this crisis, so if Trump trusts him I trust him too.
That being said, I'm so glad most republicans aren't idiots like Romney, because while I'm sure Pence could handle this, it boils down to more than just being able to handle it. We need a leader who is confident, resilient, not afraid to act, positive, and most important loves his country. Not saying Pence doesn't have all of that, but Trump demonstrates those qualities better than everyone else.
He's the exact leader we need for a crisis like this, and I would be so much more worried about the economy and our efforts to rebuild it if Trump wasn't at the wheel. He's going to make sure the economy recovers, and he's going to make it even stronger than it was before.
