Here’s a good summary of the difference in Obama’s initial reaction/decisions and Pres Trumps.

Sorry to have offended. Tried to find excellent video posted here yesterday or maybe day before on why we should not be comparing our plight with Italy. Have not found it yet, but did take a few notes while watching it. Hopefully, I’ll find it and post. Here’s the main points though...

We had known 1st known cause in US approx 2 weeks before Italy (we are not following their curve or 1 week behind them.)

Death numbers - ours vs theirs is misleading because our population is way bigger than theirs. Death numbers as a percentage of population should be compared.

Charts don’t start on day 1, but only after 146 cases in each country.

Single payer healthcare causing Italy to decide who lives who dies, overrun healthcare system out of the gate.

Budette, but that’s ok 😊.

I hadn’t heard that Italy had a great healthcare system. I did see a chart showing number of hospital beds per person and we had three times (maybe) more. I’ve seen Dr’s suggest that Italy had no where near the respiratory equipment needed either.

As for deaths, I pray that we won’t reach H1N1 levels (60 mil infected and over 12,000 deaths). Have no idea though. Suspect NYC and LA and other large cities will see overwhelming cases.

Thx for the education there friend. The chart was posted here the other day. Since it very well may be inaccurate, please send me a link to your source..

This was probably where the chart I saw came from. Only difference is that I said hospital beds, should have said critical care beds.

Should have also said, those were my notes after watching the video, did not mean to imply you personally were comparing deaths.
