If it can suppress the immune system’s response and minimize the fluid build up in the lungs, this will be more than enough to get us back to work and less fearful of the unknown.

They prevent your body from trying to dispel the virus with mucus production and the like. That way the lungs, sinuses and membranes don’t swell and fill with fluid. They also work to prevent viral replication within the body.
Pneumonia kills people because they are already at risk due to underlying conditions. Same with corona.
Dude that study just says processed cow urine can act as a dissinfectant.... Chloroquinne has a specific mechanism of action against corrona like virus. Not saying its the answer but it has verry few side effects, it's now a generc med so is very cheap. What's your problem and why you being a negative nancy?

Sorry, but stories like this are just plain stupid. Anecdotal evidence like this doesn't mean much. In order to know if the drug is actually having an effect you need a controlled test.
Luckily, now that they will start using on more people they can collect enough data and probably give us a real answer within a few weeks.
Absolutely agree they should be using this on sick people and collecting more data. All I'm saying is that articles like this are dangerous because they misinform people. They imply things which have not been proven and most people walk away assuming it's true.
Decisions need to be made based on scientific data, not anecdotal stories.

seen this drug talked about since early Feb. Might be something to it. Besides if you are dying, take the chances, no time for a "clinical study"
