I just got back from Walmart a couple of hours ago. It was busy, but not totally crazy busy. But there was literally not a single roll of toilet paper or paper towels. I wasn't planning on buying any t.p. but really would have liked a couple of rolls of paper towels. And as I walked the canned vegetables aisle, I saw a family -- mom, dad, and 3 kids -- surveying the sparsely stocked shelves. A girl, around 10 I'd guess, called over to her parents "Look! Green beans!", and a few seconds later a little boy, probably around 6, grabbed a can off a bottom shelf and held it up proudly to show his parents; "Peas!" he shouted. Probably the only time in my life I'll ever see kids that excited about canned vegetables.
Thanks! Glad I was able to share the scene. We all need little bits of lightheartedness right now, and that gave me a chuckle. I think I write quite enough around here :)

That's beautiful you should consider writing because I saw that played out in my mind perfectly
