Yes! I think I looked them up a few years ago and there were a couple still around other than the US. They sure disappeared quickly here though. I guess sales were low? Maybe Boston Chicken beat them out. Damn, I'm getting old!
One opened next to my house when they first started, it was awesome for the first 2 weeks delicious. Then the manager cut the food cost and you could tell it wasnt even the same chicken. Tasted like absolute garbage. They closed 2 months later.
Must've been near the end. The one near me was open for a few years and was good every time I went there. But, I did move away probably a year or so before they tanked. Glad I missed their decline.
I have to admit I really liked Kenny Roger's Roasters back in the day. Great food!
