So last year I was taking a sociology class, it was pretty boring. Had a bunch of lessons about how white people are the cause of every issue in the world with their "invisible bag of privileges" I expected this. What I didnt expect is when my sociology professor went on towards the end of the semester and told us that anyone that voted trump deserved to die. He also said anyone that voted republican should be forcefully removed from their houses.
I reported this professor, twice. Had video recording of him on his little rants. They did nothing about it. I passed the class and honestly wish I woulda taken psychology instead.
Similar instance with my public speaking professor, although he physically threw chairs across the room while screaming about Trump.
Thing is, who wants backlash? A prosperous nation full of healthy families and happy people sounds pretty good. Which is what we WOULD have if we could shake off the ridiculous bullshit and move forward as a nation.
I want one because our country is rapidly circling the drain as it is, due to importing millions (75 million to date since 1965) of "legal" immigrants from the the third world who hate our Constitution and desperately want the government controlling the most minute details of everyones' lives.
What do you think will happen in 2024? By then legal immigrants who vote left for life at 90% rates will be a majority of the voting population. Anyway fast forward a year. My wife graduated from college and she decided to text him to see if he graduated yet. The dude said he dropped out because every class he goes to now, he is always being blamed for anything that goes wrong because he is white.

I remember talking with him a while back and asking him what he thought about this new "white-hate" movement and he told me he supported it because he felt he was too privileged anyway.
Now he's a college dropout because the monster he helped create decided to eat him.
The sociology professor threw in that he believed we should make bullets each cost $1000 a piece, on the basis that "we'd make every bullet count" and therefore shoot less minorities. I ended up getting in an argument with him over it. He made it a class assignment to "give our opinion on the benefits of gun control" I totally opposed it- as I believe guns shouldn't be controlled- at all (Shall NOT be infringed). With a 1,500 word essay on why I opposed it.
He gave me a 0 for that assignment, as I didn't give ideas for gun control and just opposed it, when he explicitly asked for our opinion on it. Me, being me, showed the essay I wrote to classmates and also to the head of the department, had my grade overturned on the paper to a B after the semester ended.
I had a LOT of amazing professors at that college that year, I just had 2 really reaaaaally bad ones.
My government, criminal justice, and business professors were awesome! They stuck to their subject and implemented real world examples and exercises in their coursework.

I feel like I put much more work into my online degree than I did with most of my classes at a brick and mortar. My planner was my lifeline due to the sheer amount of deadlines I had to keep, and discussion posts had me typing 4-5 pages of material a week at minimum.
The best part was ... I avoided the angry political screeching that comes from many professors. Sure, I saw bias in some of the reading material, but you had full freedom to choose what you wanted to discuss, research, or create in your projects. It was refreshing.
Obviously be sure about accreditation. A majority of the post grad level degrees where I used to work came online. Professionals who go back to school cant sit in class M-F. A masters is required for anything management related. I just made sure I did mine at the same place my bosses did, so there was never a question about accreditation. It definitely wasn't free, but it was better quality than my first 4 years at a regular uni.
These college professors are too stupid to understand that there are tools to download the video regardless of what countermeasures the college puts in place. Even the trickiest site can't stop you from using your phone to take a video of the screen.
I went to college after I had kids. I took 5 classes and planned on getting a degree.
Only one teacher allowed us to record lectures. Most grades were based on whether the teacher liked you or not. My math class was 2 hrs of listening to the teacher talk to the students about random stuff (cycling,cooking,etc) and then saying we would have to teach eachother in groups outside of class because he didn't have time to teach us in class (he actually said this, i dropped this class after 2 days).
People are paying to NOT be taught what they're in school for. Honestly, how the fuck do you turn a math class into 2hrs of chatting about cycling? Fuck that.
My son was a UT freshman and had 2 of 4 courses on line. Excuse me, but I'm not paying $40K year tuition for you to sit on the upper bunk for half the day. The other classes were "peer review", which means my son gets to play professor and teach anchor babies and illegals sentence structure.....skills that were developed through our sacrifice to pay for parochial school. He, of course, learns nothing from his "peers".

We had a meeting with the admin and the teacher and he kept throwing "student privacy". He didn't respond when we asked about this being a public school, students having to sign a media waiver at the beginning of the year, and asking about other accommodations we could take for our daughter.
I was asked to leave the meeting when I asked "are you so afraid of someone finding out what you are teaching that you can't help a student with legally required accommodations?"
Yes, we withdrew her to home school, but she went ahead to get her GED and become a productive adult.

The sociology professor threw in that he believed we should make bullets each cost $1000 a piece, on the basis that "we'd make every bullet count" and therefore shoot less minorities. I ended up getting in an argument with him over it. He made it a class assignment to "give our opinion on the benefits of gun control" I totally opposed it- as I believe guns shouldn't be controlled- at all (Shall NOT be infringed). With a 1,500 word essay on why I opposed it.
He gave me a 0 for that assignment, as I didn't give ideas for gun control and just opposed it, when he explicitly asked for our opinion on it. Me, being me, showed the essay I wrote to classmates and also to the head of the department, had my grade overturned on the paper to a B after the semester ended.
I had a LOT of amazing professors at that college that year, I just had 2 really reaaaaally bad ones. My government, criminal justice, and business professors were awesome! They stuck to their subject and implemented real world examples and exercises in their coursework.

I feel like I put much more work into my online degree than I did with most of my classes at a brick and mortar. My planner was my lifeline due to the sheer amount of deadlines I had to keep, and discussion posts had me typing 4-5 pages of material a week at minimum.
The best part was ... I avoided the angry political screeching that comes from many professors. Sure, I saw bias in some of the reading material, but you had full freedom to choose what you wanted to discuss, research, or create in your projects. It was refreshing.
How did you get it for free?
Obviously be sure about accreditation. A majority of the post grad level degrees where I used to work came online. Professionals who go back to school cant sit in class M-F. A masters is required for anything management related. I just made sure I did mine at the same place my bosses did, so there was never a question about accreditation. It definitely wasn't free, but it was better quality than my first 4 years at a regular uni.
These college professors are too stupid to understand that there are tools to download the video regardless of what countermeasures the college puts in place. Even the trickiest site can't stop you from using your phone to take a video of the screen.
I went to college after I had kids. I took 5 classes and planned on getting a degree.
Only one teacher allowed us to record lectures. Most grades were based on whether the teacher liked you or not. My math class was 2 hrs of listening to the teacher talk to the students about random stuff (cycling,cooking,etc) and then saying we would have to teach eachother in groups outside of class because he didn't have time to teach us in class (he actually said this, i dropped this class after 2 days).
People are paying to NOT be taught what they're in school for. Honestly, how the fuck do you turn a math class into 2hrs of chatting about cycling? Fuck that.

My son was a UT freshman and had 2 of 4 courses on line. Excuse me, but I'm not paying $40K year tuition for you to sit on the upper bunk for half the day. The other classes were "peer review", which means my son gets to play professor and teach anchor babies and illegals sentence structure.....skills that were developed through our sacrifice to pay for parochial school. He, of course, learns nothing from his "peers".

My youngest daughter is dyslexic and had an accommodation for voice recording. One teacher at her school refused her request to record, citing "privacy concerns of the other students".
We had a meeting with the admin and the teacher and he kept throwing "student privacy". He didn't respond when we asked about this being a public school, students having to sign a media waiver at the beginning of the year, and asking about other accommodations we could take for our daughter.
I was asked to leave the meeting when I asked "are you so afraid of someone finding out what you are teaching that you can't help a student with legally required accommodations?"
Yes, we withdrew her to home school, but she went ahead to get her GED and become a productive adult.
