❤️. I got into an small argument with someone here who was saying Spanish is just as acceptable as English. No! It's fine if you speak it with your family (my family is Polish and we do the same), but this is America. If we don't keep standards high and have people learn the language and culture, then we'll lose it.
The people who are surprised that you are articulate and speak fluently just have lower standards and expectations. It's not right and honestly it hurts people who want to do well in our society.
