I've never met anyone in real life who actually uses Twitter. Or at least isn't embarrassed enough to admit it. The site is a total useless shithole filled with low life cucks and run by a faggotry looking quasi-bearded shithead. People on that site are either Canadians, Europeans, or American communists. They in no way represent what anyone with half a brain would think in any situation. Unfortunately we still allow them to vote.
I used to use it for news by companies because they would post shit there. Never followed an actual person. I got banned for calling Jennifer Rubin stupid and dumb after a following a link from here and commenting that to her LOLOLOL.
I had an account back in like 2010. Was a great way to get weather updates and alerts on 2 for one deals at my grocery. I genuinely like it.
But that was before all of the trash and dumb people started using it as a place to flame and promote themselves. Same thing happened with Facebook and Instagram. I dont think I've used it since 2012.
The other thing that happened is SJW tyrants started going back through people’s tweets from years ago to try to get them fired. Kind of ruins the whole thing. Nobody wants some tossed-off joke they wrote in the backseat of a cab coming home from the bar at 3am back in 2011 being used as the defining statement of their beliefs and character.
I saw a stat once that said like 2% of America is on Twatter. And then I realized how dumb it is when corporations cuck out, change their behavior or go woke because of something someone said on Twatter. It would be the equivalent of a heckler on a sidewalk yelling something at a CEO and then the CEO all of a sudden says "stop everything, we absolutely must change what we are doing to reflect what that heckler wants!"
It's utter insanity and is yet another example of how staring at a screen all day can give you a false sense of reality. Do it long enough, and it'll eventually squeeze every last drop of reality from your psyche.
And there was an analysis done a little over a year ago that a majority of the posts come from just around 10% of the total subscribers. I very tiny sample and it's just people or bots who sit on their phone all day and contribute nothing else to society. What a joke.
These people literally want it to go through testing for safety for 6 months while people die. Even though it's already approved as safe to take. These people hate you! What they are saying is equivalent to taking Pain meds that are approved and shown as safe to take for back pain, but don't take it if you have a broken arm cause it's not approved for that.
I've lost a few friends this week who want Texas to issue a shelter in place order. One told me I didn't care about people and only cared about P&L as I was making the case that the more people are out of work, the harder it's going to be for everyone to recover. What happens when you lose the house because you don't have an income? When you lose your insurance because you don't have a job? And she replied back, it doesn't matter as long as it saves one life. Oh, and she strongly supports abortion.
