Screw 'em. "Sodom and Gomorrah 2: Woketopia" is the sequel no one asked for. I don't need a damn thing from California. The prime exporter of propaganda is of no use to me whatsoever.
I hear there are some Patriots out there, in 10+ years I never met one. I do not miss that 3rd-world hellhole one bit.
We exist! Many based folk here in El Segundo. There is a large Trump 2020 sign outside a house on Main Street. Many of my close associates are conservatives. People really open up when you sniff it out of them.
Former Resident of El Segundo! (Home of LAX) I do miss it a little, but will never leave North Georgia now. I couldn't come back if I wanted to with the gun laws!
Damned right. They are producers, but they are ravenous consumers too. Sure their GDP is huge but they consume it all and then some. The State of California has over 1 Trillion dollars of debt and unfunded liabilities. The liberals are like a plague of locusts
>I would have had a much easier time out there had I found any Patriots (or even normal people) to work/hang out with. After 10 years of that, I decided it was time to get out with my self and sanity mostly intact.
There are based people here. California produces 1/3 of veggies and 2/3 of fruit and nut so you do need our state. I get all the shit talk on here bout Cali, I live in SF so see even more but it is a beautiful productive place place that’s worth salvaging.
Hi SF! People don't know that our state was conservative not long ago. It got turned by unbridled illegal immigration, communist indoctrination in schools, and plowing under of our industries for housing. They revile us instead of seeing it as a bellwether for what will happen to them soon.
I get the sentiment, but you realize a lock down doesn't mean actually locked in your house. As a pede behind enemy lines in CA I also went for a hike. I do understand why you would think that though with how the media spins it. Cheers!
For me personally it is life as usual, the only difference being the shortages of certain things at the store. You can still go to work, the store, get your taco bell, walk your dogs, take a hike.
The libs that can't go to their pilates spin class and socialize inside the Starbucks are probably a bit more miffed about the whole thing.
edit: note I also don't have kids, for those dealing with school closures that has to suck.
I don’t get why some pedes think the entire state of California is a hellscape. It is not. Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Bay Area is a hellscape. Outside of these shitholes, it is peaceful.
Family and I were out hiking in nature all morning. Saw lots of families in the distance all doing the same. Just being together and enjoying God's country. Just got back from the store with some fresh produce. Probably gonna smoke a brisket tomorrow.
Honestly the liberal urban literal shit holes were cesspools before anyone ever heard of the China Virus. Human feces, illegal aliens and needles all over the place.
You are right about that. I was talking about trash everywhere, people openly use heroin and left needles on the street, people shitting on the street, etc. That shit is confined in Los Angeles, Bay Area, and San Francisco.
San Diego is a mixed bag. Americans who is living in San Diego is quite based, but the city is a shithole as it is the first city in the state for homeless and illegals shitting in the street. The measles outbreak first happened in San Diego.
Everything is misinformation around here, but for those who actually reads past the headlines, they know that all the lockdown talk is just restricting businesses and social congregation.
It's basically stay in your home unless, you know, you need to do stuff.
What are y'all actually allowed to do? Were you hiking to a pharmacy? Lol.
You can go anywhere your little heart desires in California - by foot, bike, motorcycle, car, scooter, bus, whatever - please stop sensationalizing things, ok?
I'm in the CA lock down but it's not restricting us from hiking and enjoying the beautiful outdoors of CA nature. Just restricting the cesspool of urban city congregation and visiting a lot of people.
Most of the "country folk" are people that live 3 minutes from the interstate and more than a few need those "city boy" medications they have to pick up from Walmart for diabetes and all manner of ailments.
Not to be mean, but seriously too many of them arent as independent as they like to brag, though far better off than a hipster.
The best example is what the Soviets did to their farmers in the USSR bread basket of Ukraine.
They waited for the harvest season to be over, removed all the grain and stockpiled food... then blockaded them in over the winter to starve... where the farmers after a few months began eating their own children and selling off the prime body parts for essentials.
Then they repopulated the farming areas with city dwellers that did not know how to farm and the population nationwide nearly died off from famine over successive seasons.
Democrats today : "We would rather see everyone starve... then let Trump win a second term. Since the flyover states have guns... we sent the Chinese Virus instead. (Cheering and praise from both elite coasts and elite north of Chicago/Michigan)
Democrats aren't going to compromise anymore... they demand absolute rule now... no matter how many lives it costs... worldwide.
It is why they (DNC/CNN, etc.) openly support China, over the President of the United States.
When does sedition start being discussed? D.O.J.? F.B.I.? N.S.A.? What say you?
It is. The last I got the flu was after being in NYC. Also New Yorkers like to say every big city is like that. Bullshit go to Japan and all of their big cities are spotless. Something, something, culture.
When I hear "Make America Great Again", it makes me think of a time when NYC was the pinnacle of civilization and everyone wanted to be there; a time before decades of democrats in positions of power poisoned the city. Imagine the 20's through the 70's, the Mad Men era when NYC was where anyone could be anything.
Now it's just 8 million people crammed onto an island and its surrounding shores throwing their shit into the streets; it's full of homeless people, rundown blocks, and illegal aliens and not one of those 8 million want to do anything about it out of fear of being called racist.
Are there some beautiful spots in NYC that bring you back to a time where it was what every city strived to be? Yes, but they are nothing more than a front anymore for the scum that lies beneath.
Visit to see the sites and see a shell of city that was once was unlike any other in the world - and then keep going.
As much as they say Trump isn't doing enough, I don't think they understand our ideology of self responsibility and doing the right thing because it's right.
The numbers of Corona look like an election map lol
I'm not knocking ya because we're all entitled to our dislikes. Those yolks are good! I love mixing them into rice and letting them finish cooking to cover all the rice or sop them up with kings rolls. I don't know why I'm telling you this haha. I just love em! Have a great weekend, pede.
Oh do not worry, friend. All the wealthy virtue signaling liberals will come hide in their bunkers, that are located somewhere within the 'fly over' states.
An all American breakfast. Real Americans would eat that then go out on the back 40 and dig post holes and line fences and round up some lost cattle then put new siding on the barn then feed the chickens and slaughter a pig, while a city person would sit in front of their computer bitching about how stupid country people are while getting morbidly fat.
Corn Bread (not sugary cakelike mix) is best made in cast iron skillets with bacon grease coating. I personally like Mexican style with corn, onions and bell peppers and hamburger meat and cheese optional.
I thought about if I should just take off to the Dakotas or something and spend a couple weeks working remote and enjoying the outdoors. Only thing stopping me is I don't know how welcome I would be and don't want to disrupt the locals.
I'm not sure if Texas is supposed to be a flyover state or not but I've been cooking out a ton. It's funny I went to Reddit for like 5 minutes to look for something about local businesses and there was this nonsense from the idiots about how it's going to be so much worse here because all the Trump idiots think it's such a hoax and they will spread it everywhere. I'm sorry, two of the largest metro areas in the country are here and we handle loads of international travel and traffic, yet the spread so far has been a tiny speck compared to the Dems shitholes.
Haha, I'm not surprised really. That's reported as the case in a lot of places that aren't as popular or overrun tourist traps. I find I do very well in places that are supposed to hate strangers. They generally warm really quick to people who are quiet, non-disruptive, and respectful. I haven't made it to the Dakotas yet but they may end up high on the travel destination list once this is all over.
You've probably seen that the happiest people live in the Dakotas? Hard work and good values does that to a person. I've known a few from there, only been once. Their description is apt: it's hot, cold, and windy.
Flying a kite that tows your buggy would be a good hobby there.
Exactly! I work a regular office job and that's great and all, but if we ever go full apocalypse I may not have a farm but I have loads of tools and can fix many things and have a ton of experience with car repair and electrical wiring. Valuable skills can be bartered with for what you don't have. If your skills are creative writing and gender studies you will much sooner outlive your usefulness.
And something else you probably thought of but didn't mention, even if you don't have a farm, farmers love useful people and there's a tremendous upside to having people like you around in apocalypse scenarios. Mechanical/vehicle and electrical know-how are 2 skills that will forever serve you no matter how bad things get. Plus loads of tools, you're exactly the type of person who thrives in a Walking Dead scenario. Add a little 2A collection to your arsenal and your golden
I don't know any of this for certain, but here are my tips:
1, Aim for a red state and/or county using the county-level election maps from 2016 or 2018.
2, Avoid big cities when possible (hopefully also avoiding the "metropolitan areas" surrounding the biggest cities). The smaller the population, the smaller the infrastructure/welfare, the smaller the corruption. Cheaper land/real-estate prices are just a secondary bonus of living away from the big cities.
3, Build up your skills/resume in the manufacturing industry if possible (with your degrees in pharma/food, you might want to aim for the Breadbasket states and look at the various food manufacturing companies). Trump is making a lot of companies seriously weigh shifting their global supply chains back to the USA, and once a manufacturing hub is fully operational, it's VERY hard to dismantle/outsource it without costing the company millions.
4, Try to find work with an American company, preferably with a company NOT based out of California or New York. Companies founded/run in "fly-over states" are less likely to try moving their business out of the very regions that gave them their prosperity in the first place.
Besides that, the US is one of the largest countries in the world, with a wide range of locales/cultures, and a massive network of roadways/railways/airports/seaports connecting it all. Throw a dart anywhere in the heartland, and you're likely to find wide open spaces with nice neighbors (and their nice stockpiles of guns) at a very low price (especially compared to Commiefornia or NYC).
I live in a blue city, and spent the week 2 hrs outside it at a resort in a red county at (loved it)
I jokingly told the resort director that red states have built in social distancing compared to cities, where everyone is packed in on top of each other like sardines
Looks legit. i was jawin with the farmer next door, a mile away, and he allowed as how we all have been social distancing all along like bosses. He called it, " Farmer Thug life" we fell out...too funny. Got milk? Hang on, gotta milk a cow BRB...lol.
Haha haha, in TN just went to the store and grabbed a pack of 18 TP(they had plenty, and were limiting to 1/person), eggs, milk, plenty of meat, bread. Still mostly stocked at my local store, people being nice. Love living semi rural
Happy as a clam over here. Working from home, doing honey-do list projects, swinging kettlebells in the downtime. I've lost three pounds and the house looks great.
That’s how it is where I live, (the most based state in the Union) and it’s business as usual, some stuff is picked over like everywhere else (tp,paper towels). But there is plenty of food, and what can’t be bought can be caught or hunted. My job went 100% remote overnight (I work in a datacenter for a food manufacturer , we are 100% employee owned and 100% USA based, we started as a mom and pop) I’m saving a ton on gas and car maintenece, getting more time at home with my family, and my quality of life has only improved. I hear and see families spending time together outside and children playing, history might show that this virus was the best thing to happen to us.
Last night for dinner I marinated a fillet of salmon in soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic and Five Soice powder, and gooked it up in the pellet smoker, and pan-seared a batch of Brussels sprouts with olive oil and garlic, then deglazed /steamed with white wine and mirin.
My poor friends in CA were locked down yesterday. I went for a hike. Keep on flying over ya plague carriers.
Screw 'em. "Sodom and Gomorrah 2: Woketopia" is the sequel no one asked for. I don't need a damn thing from California. The prime exporter of propaganda is of no use to me whatsoever.

No pal sorry
Former Resident of El Segundo! (Home of LAX) I do miss it a little, but will never leave North Georgia now. I couldn't come back if I wanted to with the gun laws!
Did you know Fred and Lamont?
Organize and keep the conversation going. Rise up.
Many based folks a little bit further up the 405. Love that drive thru Teriyaki place on Main.
LA here.... no lockdown, more people and families out walking around enjoying the day than I've ever seen before!
Born and raised in the 818. Tell me exactly where the "based" area is... (Tujunga, La Tuna Canyon)?
Stunning to think OC used to be like 80% Republican and this state spawned multiple great presidents
This! Out here in the riverside area! Near OC. Beautiful place to live! Hate the 91!
Damn that’s crazy to think that people are out and about. It’s cold 8 months out of the year here and no one goes out unless they need something
Exactly, watching all kinds of families and folks I've never seen in the neighborhood before walking dogs, riding scooters as I type...
Damned right. They are producers, but they are ravenous consumers too. Sure their GDP is huge but they consume it all and then some. The State of California has over 1 Trillion dollars of debt and unfunded liabilities. The liberals are like a plague of locusts
Hey hey now let’s not get all genocidal. Some pedes live here too.
Im one, but cant help but upvote their sentiments.
This guy gets it! <3 <3 <3
>I would have had a much easier time out there had I found any Patriots (or even normal people) to work/hang out with. After 10 years of that, I decided it was time to get out with my self and sanity mostly intact.
You should have lived in the central valley. Pedes everywhere, and we keep your fresh produce on the shelves.
The central valley does not sit over the Fault of Sweet Saint Andreas.
In the words of Tool: learn to swim.
For anyone who hasn't gotten the reference yet.
Any fucking time... Any fucking day.
Let's bioengineer a virus that targets the soy gene!
Why punish the ocean like that!?
Got based family out there.

Our Calipedes are incredible people

Get all ChiCom influence out of the USA
Fukn epic

Yes. But all of it is commanded by the corrupt, commie cabal that you erroneously refer to as a "state government."
You are right about that. I was talking about trash everywhere, people openly use heroin and left needles on the street, people shitting on the street, etc. That shit is confined in Los Angeles, Bay Area, and San Francisco.

Some are unable to dine in and eat that injera bread with their communal fingers in their favorite Ethiopian restaurants.
😂
Ah, Ethiopian restaurants: "This will be a quick meal. I'll order two empty plates and we can leave".
Nah man, it's good stuff. If you look at the history of food, it's pretty much the mother cuisine to southern cooking.
I was just using a quote from When Harry Met Sally, when non-pc jokes were still allowed : )
"hike over to Walmart look around and take a shit" - sounds like those People of Walmart videos!
233 comments on this post? OP is hot!

I was genuinely curious, but didn't feel a little ribbing would be too far out of bounds.
Maybe I was wrong? Well friend I apologize for causing you offense.
I'm in the CA lock down but it's not restricting us from hiking and enjoying the beautiful outdoors of CA nature. Just restricting the cesspool of urban city congregation and visiting a lot of people.
there is no LOCK DOWN, stop using that term!
I'm in NY and am self employed. I've been working the whole time. I'm not sick and intend to keep working until (if) I do.
Fuck Cuomo.
Martial law isn't the answer.
country folks can survive

It attracts the deer.
As my Upstate New York friend likes to say "NYC is the hemorrhoid on the ass of New York State."
Upstate, Adirondacks scenic highway; may be the most beautify 4 hours I spent with no cell signal in my life.
I heard that NYC is dirty af
DC is Sodom and Gomorrah together. NYC and San Fran are the Jr versions.

No, not "typical." SF is uniquely in the dark ages! Pelosi's district?
Europeans have not lived like that since Muhammad was alive.
A perfect breeding ground for viruses.
Despite all their rage, they’re still just rats in a cage.
Yup, live in rural upstate NY. NYC is a cancer on our state.
As is Chicago in my state.
As much as they say Trump isn't doing enough, I don't think they understand our ideology of self responsibility and doing the right thing because it's right.
The numbers of Corona look like an election map lol
We should just get rid off all their bridges out of their city and let them be.
Lol. Like The Dark Knight but no crazy gas is necessary.
Fuck, been saying for years I wish they would fuck off and stop moving here(SE).
not a fan of uncooked yolks but otherwise that looks good
best thing ever
Great for dipping toast in
DIPPY EGGS!
I like over medium.
Sunny side up is ok, but I prefer the white to be cooked over.
Same here. Cooked whites, runny yolk is awesome. I believe that's over easy.
throws up
I'm not knocking ya because we're all entitled to our dislikes. Those yolks are good! I love mixing them into rice and letting them finish cooking to cover all the rice or sop them up with kings rolls. I don't know why I'm telling you this haha. I just love em! Have a great weekend, pede.
That's hash beneath it, if I'm not mistaken. The eggs will steam up just fine if ya leave em be.
Oh do not worry, friend. All the wealthy virtue signaling liberals will come hide in their bunkers, that are located somewhere within the 'fly over' states.
I'd risk corona to get me some of this deliciousness
An all American breakfast. Real Americans would eat that then go out on the back 40 and dig post holes and line fences and round up some lost cattle then put new siding on the barn then feed the chickens and slaughter a pig, while a city person would sit in front of their computer bitching about how stupid country people are while getting morbidly fat.
Country life is the best life. Raising your own and working the land gives a sense of pride thats beyond compare.
Bruh. https://smithey.com/products/carbon-steel-farmhouse-skillet
Had to look that up. They look good...bookmarked the recipe.
are you of Danish hertitage?
That pan is... $275
It would be the last one you ever buy, unless a democrat breaks in and steals it
Yeah, after I posted that comment I looked into it more. Serious stuff. Plus that handle looks sick!
Yes it is. I have the $500 set, getting that skillet next. Best investment ever
Thanks for the link. Gettin me another skillet
Love cast iron. My induction stove does too, so my cast iron pans get daily use.
Corn Bread (not sugary cakelike mix) is best made in cast iron skillets with bacon grease coating. I personally like Mexican style with corn, onions and bell peppers and hamburger meat and cheese optional.
Smoking brisket in Texas right now.
Folks don't realize, I mean I sure didn't before, what you can do with a smoker and a freezer.
My son in law stuffed our freezer with meat and shrimp. STUFFED!
We have a flat top/grill, a couple of smokers, a gas thing you can fry turkeys, and we can do crawfish boils.
SIL is a cooking machine!
People will be out there knife fighting over the last can of dog food and these mfs will be like "oh jeez- scampi AGAIN?" LOL /s

What do you mean by that?

Man, sometimes I think about leaving the city, but then I don't know a single trade and am kinda stuck with my job. Decisions, man.
Even a 9 month trade school at nights would be a badass upgrade to every pede
Be like me, have a blue collar trades skill and a white collar skill. When SHTF you're all set.
Too late to do this during the current Corona situation, but in future, it's something to think about.

I have 37 acres in East Texas that could work. Of course we would have to work around the oil wells and injection wells.
It's never too late to learn a trade. Start with doing your own oil changes. You then have tools on hand and know what is going into your engine.
Yes
I have a 10lb pork butt out in my smoker.
I'm in Imperial Beach right now and people are out and about. The stores are depleted and most everyone is being polite and civil. Fuck Gavin.
We don't need a quarantine for this. That's just a normal weekend around here
Alright pede, I'm gonna need that address. (Jk)
640 yards past the taller copse of evergreen ttrees on toms hill.
looks like a good post for r/keto but that would mean going to reddit so... never mind.
Huge community on FB
Plus depending where this is happening it might be boudin. Not keto 😛

Texas has some pharma companies. Property taxes are high here, but housing is less. A lot of people live out in suburb towns and own a few acres.
Grand Rapids, MI
That looks delicious. If the wind dies down tonight, I'll light up the bonfire. Thank God I'm a country boy. ;-)
May I ask which state this lovely picture came from?
The great state of NottaLottaShitLibsHere, it's a nice state lol
So basically it could be any of 48 states provided they don't live near a University.
Lol pretty much.
I live in a blue city, and spent the week 2 hrs outside it at a resort in a red county at (loved it)
I jokingly told the resort director that red states have built in social distancing compared to cities, where everyone is packed in on top of each other like sardines

Haha haha, in TN just went to the store and grabbed a pack of 18 TP(they had plenty, and were limiting to 1/person), eggs, milk, plenty of meat, bread. Still mostly stocked at my local store, people being nice. Love living semi rural

I'm doing a lot of fishing with my free time.
Me too. Everyone is whining about the quarantine, I just walk out the door with my pole and head down to the river.
peppers, onion, sausage (Lumberjacks?), eggs, what else is in that pile of delicious?
Happy as a clam over here. Working from home, doing honey-do list projects, swinging kettlebells in the downtime. I've lost three pounds and the house looks great.
looks beee-yootiful, pede. Dig in & kick back; beats San FranShitsGo or Poo York City right about now
Oh man, that looks delicious op. I shoulda thought to get eggs. Oh well. Got everything else for a bitchin cookout.
Coastal elites can suck it.
Bacon and eggs, oj from florida, toast with strawberry jam, and potatoes. No food deserts here.
LOL, but enjoy it while you can. After this is all over those ‘flyover’ states are going to get more popular.
True story. We in Oklahoma are selling eggs and meat from home farms. We are also near dairy’s and have local veggies coming up soon.
Needs more TP.
God Bless the USA!
I wish I had that
Keep flying. Eating pretty good here in MI.
Magically delicious!
God damn that looks like the life
I really need to learn how to cook like this. Those eggs look perfect.
I'm in Cali, and the Cali-libs are absolutely freaking out. The Cali-pedes are fine, however.
wow, what a meal. I am hungry just looking at it. Wonderful, bravo
Hello from locked down NYC.
That looks amazing. Foods and location. What’s in the pan? where are you? (roughly) and what do you call that?
Work form home, learn to code.
