When I hear "Make America Great Again", it makes me think of a time when NYC was the pinnacle of civilization and everyone wanted to be there; a time before decades of democrats in positions of power poisoned the city. Imagine the 20's through the 70's, the Mad Men era when NYC was where anyone could be anything.
Now it's just 8 million people crammed onto an island and its surrounding shores throwing their shit into the streets; it's full of homeless people, rundown blocks, and illegal aliens and not one of those 8 million want to do anything about it out of fear of being called racist.
Are there some beautiful spots in NYC that bring you back to a time where it was what every city strived to be? Yes, but they are nothing more than a front anymore for the scum that lies beneath.
