A tide is turning. My dad, who pretty much hates all politicians and wasn’t a Trump fan, is coming around. We watch daily press conference over the phone and he thinks the president is doing a good job. Never thought I would utter those words.
I think your dad used to hang out with my wife. Same way. Hated politICS as much as I am addicted to it. I'd been trained not to even mention it but to silently fulfill my need for it out of her way. 20 minutes ago she said, "nobody but President Trump has shit to say that anyone should be listening to."
If they're smart, they recognize it. Americans are trying to survive the virus together; and a badass at the helm is just what we need--someone who isn't afraid to fight for us.
