And this is the job of Defense attorneys -- to muddy the water till a jury doubts, and cant award a giant settlement as they cant be positive Plaintiffs case is correct beyond any doubt. Then they quietly dump the case for a nuisance value, and they agree never to speak of the details of the settlement. Fait Accomplit.
Besides, we know that Carter Page was a UCE. He was already, a few years prior, an undercover EMPLOYEE of the FBI/CIA to bust an actual Russian spy on a different case in NYC. They all knew exactly who and what Carter Page was, (not a spy, an economist willing to help the govt on that one NY matter) they had vetted him, he was working for them, and they allegedly turned on him, since he happened to then volunteer to work for the Trump campaign. He was not colluding with the Russians and/or the President to do anything and they knew it.
There are many other things, but third, the DNC will allegedly do anything to get this over with and continue to ignore the alleged heart of the matter, the Seth Rich & the DNC email hack/leak, etc., etc., etc.
