As a bioweapon...Coronavirus certainly has all the characteristics. Mild initial symptoms...long asymptomatic (to 14 day incubation period)....not fatal to most. It rapidly brings down economy and quarantines people...while leaving infrastructure completely unaffected for enemy to occupy.
If this was intentional release or gross incompetence will be hard to determine.
Signs point to gross incompetence, and that alone should indicate that no virologists elsewhere should EVER share their research samples with China in case this happens again. China continues to create pandemics through their horrid septic wet markets or through intentional bioweapon development. No other countries should help them destroy the world through plague.
