If I have to explain the difference between entitlements and socialism one more time. I have my criticism of entitlements but these people think one time check of a thousand dollars is the same as a thousand to everyone every month. So dumb it’s infuriating.

Of course not. Thats intentional. We haven't taught US history and its Founding in schools in decades now, this is why mass disinformation groups like Project 1619 can propagate without immediately being laughed at.
Ask the average HS senior today what the cause of the American Revolution was, and you'll be lucky to get something about 'taxation without representation'. In a heavy P1619 area, you might get a completely false answer to the effect of 'to preserve slavery'. This despite the fact that the causes of the Revolution are listed out in the Declaration of Independence and most of the Founders wrote extensively on the evils of slavery.
The Declaration, Paine's 'Common' Sense, Jefferson's 'Causes and Necessity of Taking Up Arms', the Federalist Papers,the Anti-Federalist Papers, Mercy Otis Warren's poetry and plays, Washington's 'Rules of Civility', and thats off the top of my head . . .none are required reading in American schools any more. Thats all intentional . . . its infinitely easier to push socialism, authoritarianism, and erode the Natural Rights the Republic was founded on when the Republic's youth have no idea what their legacy is, when they believe their entitled to everything, when they believe they live in a democracy.
