Maxie Waters had her daughter on the campaign staff payroll for years, she got paid something like $750K. You can do it via insider trading like how Warren Buffet got rich by hanging around Obama. There's the indirect method like Pelosi sending light rail into Tom Steyer's real estate holdings and made them worth a fortune. Or money laundering when any politician gets a book deal.
Anyways, Bernie isn't smart enough to take advantage of campaign finance laws, evidently he got that money from his wife defrauding Burlington College.

He funnels campaign money through ad buying companies run by his friends. He also bought copies of his own book through his campaign. That’s where the money for his house came from. Book deals are a common scam for politicians to profit without looking outright corrupt.
The way it works is that the publishing company gives you a large cash advance. You buy the book using other people’s money through your campaign, giving the illusion that there is a lot of interest in it. The publishing companies are owned by or contributed to by powerful people with lots of money.
The bribe money gets laundered this way, and it’s all perfectly legal. Ask the cuck why Bernie railed against Hillary’s corruption but then dropped out and endorsed her near the end. Ask him if he’s going to do the same with Joe after watching him lie to his face on the debate stage.
Judging by how he’s still hanging on even though Biden is smoking him, I’d say he’s angling for an upgrade to his lakehouse.
