The United States Needs Better Data Immediately

LOL, talk about stating the obvious. Unfortunately good data doesn't grow on trees, it takes time to collect.

There is little data on new viruses. What we have now is suspect because it comes from political entities with agendas. Add to that a lack of testing and bad tests when they do have them and no amount of demand for data can be gathered in time to use it before decisions have to be made to stem the spread of the virus. Take action and hope it's not a worst case scenario. It probably isn't, but we have to act as if it is. We share gathering more data daily, but universal testing isn't done with any virus and the rates are adjusted by estimates.

We are currently seeing the results of what we did 2 weeks ago. What we do today will not be evident for another two weeks. Even that is skewed by additional testing as they become widely available.

hope so, as of today, 10% of State Governors of this country has publicly stated they're willing and able to kill or imprison their own citizens if they resist attempts to eliminate constitutional rights.

There are emergency powers for a reason. Get mad if they are not rescinded after the emergency. The resistance isn't RIPE!

And that's different how? At least there's a good reason this time.

interesting that you think there would ever be a good reason for a government to kill or imprison its citizens.

It happens every day. Citizens who endanger other citizens are killed if they can be stopped no other way. This is done by the good guys. Imprisonment is preferred, but the threat will be dealt with. Your rights stop at the tip of your nose.

Imprisonment is preferred over death, but death is a viable option for otherwise free citizens who simply want to preserve their constitutional rights? Very scary that you think this way.

The good guys? Lol Not all cops are bad but let's not pretend that the majority of them are good.
