It's not happening in a white western nation so they don't care. They only protest in countries where there won't be any actual consequences from the government.
I was veggie because I don't support the factory farms that America has created. We torture some animals nearly as bad as China, it's just hidden from view. I mean, cutting off chicken beaks so they can fit in their tiny cage? Yea...
After about 10 years of it, I realized I had exactly zero effect on the world in that regard. Nobody around me had changed their diets, which meant I, realistically, hadn't saved a single animal.
I didn't know that about chicken beaks, but I really don't think that's on par with boiling dogs alive. We don't do stuff for the express purpose of causing pain.
I don't feel good about eating meat, but I've resigned myself to thinking it's just natural. I've been doing carnivore diet and feeling so good that I really think it's true that this is the way we're meant to be. Part of the darker side of human nature, I suppose. But hopefully with technology we'll be able to grow meat without brains in the future and can all enjoy a delicious burger without any animals getting hurt!
Peta??? Where u at???
Yet another strong indicator of how deep the corrupt penetration into US institutions goes.

What about Halal butchering in the west??
I am completely against that. But they aren't going to get thrown in the clinker for protesting that over here in the US.
Peta kills more animals than they save. It's a scheme to take your money.
I'm a former vegetarian. FUCK PETA just as much as FUCK CHINA!
Why'd you quit being veggie?

They don't love animals. They hate the human race.
