Saw a restaurant kitchen in philly. They had the crispy noodles they put on all the tables coming out of a TRASHCAN with no liner and flies were EVERYWHERE! It was gross!
I have, actually. Having a Noodle Can makes sense, so long as no trash has been in there previously or that it was very thoroughly washed first. I mean, why not? Trash Cans are made of the same plastic that everyone's sealing their cereal in these days instead of keeping it in the box (with a bag inside, also made of that plastic.) Flies are indeed gross, and those must be removed with extreme prejudice, but to that... Philly is a shithole. A serious, serious shithole. I've been in Chinese places in Chinatown, and many of them are quite nice. Find one that's got the favorable ratings from the... fuck are they called? Food Police, like that little asshole from Bob's Burgers.
