From that i can discern capacity, how stressed the system is, who is struggling to cope, where we need to augment. The number ever infected is always going to grow. And anyone infected 2 weeks ago...is either dead or getting better. Only list number infected on a rolling basis. Move 2 week old cases to a new category.

Agree 100%. H1N1 had a known higher death count ( not rate) but never heard of hospitals being over loaded. They handled a surge. Local news where I live have no mention of emergency room overload. The video of the Hawaii urgent care lady being on TV stating the testing is overwhelmed but zero people in line. What is the truth. Afternoon on Fox News had a young female reporter in front of Javitz center reporting it may be a makeshift hospital because hospitals are overwhelmed. Not reports from hospitals though.
